International snacks items are gaining popularity among Indian youth, thanks to the globalisation. Mexican Nachos being the most popular ones in current times. With an endeavour to cater to the foodie nature of the consumer, Fabsta launched the Nachos range with four flavours – Cheese, Jalapeno, Peri-peri and Tomato
Deep Diving:
Nachos is basically a Tex-Mex dish that originated in northern Mexico. It consists of heated tortilla chips covered with melted cheese or a cheese-based sauce. The instant snack version of it comes in a chips-like avatar with cheese seasoning and burst of flavours. The flavours play the tantalizing part when it comes to Nachos.
Approach & Solution:
Coming from the house of TATA the product quality is undoubtedly good but the instant snacks such as chips and nachos are all about the punch of flavours. Accordingly, our approach was to hero the intensity of drool-worthy flavours as much as possible. The excitement of taking a break from the mundane food had to begin right from the packaging.
It is a value for money product range, made from good quality ingredients. Hence the convenient pillow pouches were thought of for packaging. Nachos being ideally a youthful food choice, we used attractive and bright colours for the pouches that speak loud n’ clear about the flavour of each variant. The ‘on the go snack’ factor of the nachos is another important aspect especially for young adults, so we decided to play big upon dynamic graphics with flying of nachos along with the flavour ingredients and used crisp typography.
The vibrant and trendy design of Nachos pack came to be with the main focus on the flavours itself yet adding a dynamic quirk to it.
